We specialise in a broad range of marketing services, including digital, events, creative, retail, and film. This role primarily focuses on working with our key client, Samsung Consumer Electronics.
Primary Function
This is a full-time role on a one-year fixed-term contract, with the potential for extension. Based at our Olympic Park, Sydney offices, working hours will generally be in the afternoon and evening, depending on livestream production schedules.
The Motion Graphic Designer will be responsible for designing and producing motion graphics that elevate the visual quality of our live broadcasts, especially for product launches, demos, and digital events. This role requires an eye for design, strong technical skills, and the ability to collaborate closely with the broadcast and product teams to ensure seamless integration of motion graphics into live productions.
Duties and Responsibilities

- Create custom motion graphics, animations, and visual assets that align with the product team’s objectives and brand identity for live broadcast events.
- Work closely with the live broadcast team to develop and integrate motion graphics that complement the live broadcast flow.
- Ensure motion graphics are on-brand, consistent, and visually engaging while enhancing the overall live broadcast experience.
- Support live broadcasts by preparing and editing motion graphics on the fly, adapting to any changes or live event needs in a timely manner.
- Contribute to the conceptualisation and creative direction of the visual elements used in product broadcasts, end to end.
- Design comprehensive motion graphic packages (e.g., lower thirds, transitions, bumpers, product animations) that can be reused across different live broadcast events.
- Assist with the post-production process, ensuring motion graphics are finalised and optimised for streaming platforms.
- Work with the technical director and video editor to ensure the smooth integration of motion graphics within live broadcast software, ensuring no interruptions or technical issues during events.
- Incorporate feedback from the product, broadcast, and creative teams to refine and enhance motion graphic assets.
- Stay current with design trends, new software tools, and emerging technologies to bring innovative ideas into motion graphics and broadcast design.

Qualifications and Experience
|
- Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in motion graphic design, preferably with a focus on live broadcast or digital content production.
- Expertise in motion graphic software, such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Cinema 4D, and/or other relevant design tools.
- Strong understanding of design principles, animation techniques, typography, colour theory, and composition.
- Familiarity with broadcast environments and experience creating graphics that work seamlessly in live streaming platforms or live broadcast setups.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and collaborate across different teams including product, creative, and technical teams.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Ability to adjust designs on-the-fly based on real-time feedback and evolving broadcast needs.
- A strong portfolio showcasing a range of motion graphics work, including broadcast graphics, live events, and digital media.
- Experience with 3D animation and motion graphics tools (e.g., Cinema 4D, Blender).
- Experience working with live broadcast tools (e.g., vMix, Wirecast) or streaming platforms (YouTube Live, Facebook Live, Instagram, etc).
- Knowledge of video editing and post-production workflows.
- Experience in designing for product launches or interactive digital events.
