The primary function is to provide and deploy services as a Retail Technical Consultant to our client Samsung Electronics Australia Pty Ltd. within the Consumer Electronics Division. The Retail Technical Consultant plays a critical role within CE Retail providing superior technical support at a retail level. The Retail Technical Consultant will be a true business partner and the conduit between the stores and Samsung Electronics Australia (SEAU). This role will require working independently but also working as a team with State Field team members and Retail Technical Consultants Nationally. Further, this role will provide support to the wider CE field team to ensure all business priorities are executed as outlined by each State Manager.
Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
Providing support in a technical capacity across Audio Visual (AV) and Home Appliances (HA)
Responsibility for optimising the convergence and usability of all Audio Visual (AV) and Home Appliances (HA) devices
Support in the installation, maintenance and repair of Samsung fixtures and security devices in retail stores
Perform all ad hoc duties as required, which will include (but not limited to:
Promote products by demonstration, presentations and instruction, set up in store displays, including POS merchandising
Assist with the delivery and in-store execution of the merchandising strategy
Qualifications:
Tertiary education including college Diploma (bachelor's degree preferred) in business, marketing or communications highly desirable.
Technical:
Intermediate PC skills including: SAP knowledge and MS office applications, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in field territory management role
