Working closely with the Retail Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in coordinating the end-to-end execution of retail displays, store fit-outs, fixtures and ongoing maintenance projects.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in retail, shopfitting or project coordination who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Retail Project Coordinator

12-month contract(View to go permanent)

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the coordination of retail projects from initial scoping through to installation and completion
  • Assist with shopfitting activities including site audits, tenders and cost analysis
  • Track budgets, raise purchase orders and support financial reconciliation across projects
  • Coordinate project schedules, timelines, resources and vendor communication
  • Assist in managing design documentation, production timelines and installation planning
  • Support defect management and ensure issues are tracked through to resolution
  • Liaise with internal teams, clients and external suppliers to ensure project requirements are met
  • Provide regular project reporting and updates to stakeholders
  • Assist in coordinating trades on-site, ensuring quality, safety and timelines are maintained

Desired Skills and Experience

About You

  • Previous experience in retail project coordination, shopfitting, production or design environments
  • Understanding of retail environments and merchandising is highly regarded
  • Strong organisational and planning skills with high attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive, solutions-focused and able to work both independently and as part of a team

Nice to Have

  • Tertiary qualification in Project Management or related discipline
  • Experience with procurement, production or retail design
